Description of Services (up to 50 words)
Since 1972, the Lake County Council on Aging has been serving the needs of Lake County seniors aged 60 and over with programs, services and resources to promote and achieve healthy aging. Services include Social Work services, Meals on Wheels, Lunch Place meals, Homemaker service, and the Non-Medical In-Home Care program. The agency also serves as Lake County’s Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC), providing Information and Assistance, Benefits Assistance and Options Counseling for seniors and adults 18 and over with disabilities.
